In the first six months of your baby's life, it's likely they're going to be asleep and dreaming of their next feed more than they're awake and crying the house down. 

Of course the sleep routine of each baby is different, but a newborn can sleep for as little as 8 hours and as much as 16 or 18. At 3-6 months, some babies might sleep for 8 hours or longer as they won't need as many night feeds, but not all.
