Where can I see Boori products?

Visit our Stockist Page to find your nearest retailer. Items on display will vary from store to store, so if you’re after a specific item, we recommend that you call ahead.

What safety standards do your cots meet?

All our cots meet the Australian and New Zealand safety standards AS/NZS: 2172/2003.

Why should I use your mattress for your cot beds?

All our mattresses have been made specifically for use with our cot beds. Our mattresses are inner sprung, ensuring long lasting comfort for your baby.

We offer a range of styles and construction all manufactured to current safety standards using the highest quality components. If you are buying a mattress for an existing cot bed, please check the label on the cot bed base to ensure you order the correct size for your model. How do I know which mattress fits my cot?

All our cots come with a warning label that can be found on the base board. As well as providing you with important information regarding safe use of the cot, this also states a recommended mattress size. Please see below for an example:

Do you offer a product warranty?

Yes, we offer a warranty for most of the products in our range. For the most accurate information regarding your product’s warranty duration and terms, please check the document that comes with your product.

As a general rule, our warranty periods are:

  • 5 years for cot beds
  • 3 (+2) years for other timber products eg. compact cots, chests, beds (the initial warranty period is 3 years, but can be extended by 2 years if you register your product here).
  • 5 years for Boori innerspring mattresses
  • 1 year for any discontinued products, including those in our Clearance Store

How do I care for my Boori product?

In order to preserve the beauty of your Boori nursery furniture we recommend the following:

  • Avoid placing the furniture in strong sunlight and keep away from direct heat sources.
  • Wipe up spills immediately with a soft, clean cloth.
  • If necessary use a mild soap solution and wipe clean with a damp cloth, then dry immediately.
  • Wipe in the direction of the grain, not in a circular motion.
  • Do not use strong household cleaners.
  • Avoid contact with sharp objects and hot liquids
  • Avoid rubber feet on items, such as radios, computers or telephones.
  • Use a felt (not plastic) mat to protect furniture surfaces.
  • Do not open more than one drawer at a time.
  • When moving the furniture do not drag, always lift and place into position.
Where can I get spare parts?

Smaller hardware products, like replacement bolts, are available to purchase directly from the Replacement Hardware section.

Why does my Boori cot bed emit an odour?

Like all new products that have been carefully wrapped in protective packaging, naturally occurring gases accumulate. Even a nearly odourless material like wood may build up a strong smell if kept in a closed box for extended periods. What you can smell is this build up dissipating. This is called ‘offgassing’ and is a naturally occurring process. 

Boori products have been independently tested and meet the Greenguard Indoor Air Quality Gold Certification. The criteria for testing is very stringent and products that have Gold certification have been tested to show that they comply with emission levels of over 360 potentially harmful VOCs (volatile organic compounds). We don’t add any chemical perfumes to our finishes to cover up or mask odours. We use only the bare minimum, high quality paints and finishes on our products ensuring that the air quality in your nursery is the safest and cleanest it can be.

Can I visit the Boori office/warehouse to buy goods?

The only time you can visit our office/warehouse to purchase items is during our Car Park Sale. This is held every last Saturday of the month from 9am to 3pm, and includes offers of up to 70% off RRP on discontinued lines, factory seconds and ex-display stock.

Can I track my order?

Boori uses third party courier services for delivery. Some of these have tracking services.

Once your goods have been picked up by the courier company, you will receive an email letting you know which courier has been used, and the tracking number for your order. You can then visit the courier’s website to track your delivery.

For some deliveries, Boori may use specialised transport companies, which do not provide tracking. In theses cases, the transport company will contact you directly to arrange the delivery day.

Hardware orders usually do not come with tracking. These are sent via Australia Post and should get to you within 10 business days.

The Shipping Method section won't let me place an order. What's wrong?

The Shipping calculator works on just the postcode. Though delivery can be arranged to most addresses in Australia, there are some restrictions placed on particularly remote addresses.

Additionally, particularly heavy and bulky items eg. dressers, wardrobes, are limited to delivery in only Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide & Gold Coast metro areas.

Zip Pay isn't working. What should I do?

If you’re having issues with Zip Pay, please check that the billing address and email details you have entered in the checkout match up with those same details in your Zip account. If you’re still experiencing issues, contact Zip (02) 8294 2345
